OpTic Texas drop Pred again after CDL 2025 Major 2

OpTic Texas have made yet another roster move, dropping Amer ‘Pred’ Zulbeari again following CDL 2025 Major 2.
After winning COD Champs at the end of the Modern Warfare 3 season, many expect Black Ops 6 to be a similar story for OpTic Texas. However, the Black Ops 6 season has been a rocky one for the Greenwall.
Personal issues saw Australian star Pred dropped from the active roster just before the season got underway, with Cuyler “Huke” Garland replacing him. Huke’s return to OpTic roster only lasted a few weeks, however, with Pred returning on February 6.

Just prior into Major 2, which they were hosting, OpTic also dropped multi-time world champion Kenny ‘Kenny’ Williams and added Cesar ‘Skyz’ Bueno to the roster.
The return to LAN didn’t offer much further solace either. OpTic completed a 3-0 sweep of Minnesota Rokkr before being swept themselves by Toronto Ultra.

Always a part of our legacy. Thank you Pred,” the team posted on X following Aussie’s departure.

Huke’s return adds familiarity for the OpTic roster, but he reportedly wasn’t their first choice. Rumors suggested that the Green Wall had tried to add José ‘ReeaL’ Manuel Fernández from Miami Heretics, but a deal apparently fell through.
